It was another Jivas outing last night, but Jas couldn't join us. So Viv and I met up first as Eve was spending time with her other friend. As we stepped into Suntec, we saw this long queue of people outside Starbucks. We were then reminded that there was this Starbucks-Salvation Army charity drive from 5pm to 7pm. Just donate any amount of money and you're entitled to a free drink. Yay! So Viv and I donated some money and joined in the queue for our free drinks! Yipee!!! Pssst... I donated only 30cents. Hahaha!!! OMFG! This was the 1st time I'd stepped into Starbucks. So when I wanted to get just an iced tea, Viv was rolling her eyes. I'm not really a coffee person mah, so to play safe, I'll just stick to iced tea. After like 20 mins or so, it was our turn to order. In the end, I ordered an iced mango frappe and Viv got a mocha frappucino. Anyway, everything was bright, cheery and noisy in Starbucks.

Free Drinks for all at Starbucks!

With our drinks in hand, we went window shopping at shops like Topshop and Dorothy Perkins and some lingerie shop. Heh, we didn't see anything we fancied, so we ended our window shopping with empty hands. Then we decided to head to NYDC for our dinner. On our way there, we passed by a pet shop and couldn't resist popping in for a look. Haha.. So cute!!! The lil furries there just took our hearts away. Viv had to literally tear me away from the pet shop before we could move on. At NYDC, I ordered Destiny Child baked pasta and Viv got Hawaiian baked rice. We talked bout' Zoe Tay and her rude behaviour at Star Awards over dinner. Viv said the papers reported her saying Singaporeans can't take jokes and even splashed a big photograph of her sobbing her hearts out. Point here isn't that Singaporean can't take jokes, but that most people probably do not see her forceful and ill-mannered actions as just some harmless fun. Oh well, all I could say is Zoe Tay totally ruined her positive image of herself.

Next, we went to Carrefour for Viv to do some grocery shopping. Eve met up with us over there. Then we went to Kbox together for fun, laughter and singing! Hehe... We sang all those oldies and even backed Eve's english oldie 'Sad Movies' with our vocals going bom bom bom bom. Then the girls started sharing their past romances and weddings. I chipped in with this romantic wedding proposal idea! Haha... Then we sang songs like Para Para Sakura accompanied with my own comical version of Para Para dance. And OMFG, I couldn't believe they actually crooned christmas songs and I danced somemore. I even imitated that Taiwanese artiste Shui Mi Tao Jie Jie (Sister Honey Peach) and her sweet child voice and antics which sent all of us into another round of laughing fits. Then later when Eve was singing, we were busy digging into the two small bowls of snacks for our favourite nuts. Suddenly, we heard her giggle and looked up. Saw Eve laughing at how focused Viv and I were while digging for our favourite snacks. Cos' usually when either one of us is singing, the others would be noisy. Eve found the sudden silence funny. Haha.. Then I imitated Jacky Cheung's singing which the girls found pretty good. Heh, my voice is a mystery which even I had difficulty understanding.

After 3 hours of hard singing and dancing, we decided to switch to those sappy, melancholic, lovey dovey songs. Viv proposed that we take turns choosing and singing the slowest and most touching ballads. Eve went 'I'm feeling so emo!' and I called her a twit! Muahahha... Then I had the runs. Don't know what I ate wrong, but it gave me very bad tummyache and I had to run to the toilet twice. We finally decided to call it a day at 1.35am! As usual, Eve and I shared a cab home. Was bitching to her bout' my project group in the cab. Haha.. Bleahx! Oh well, there's more Jivas outings to look forward to! *squeals*

Was supposed to go swimming this morning with my sister, but it rained! Boohooohooo... So all I did today was watch Kids Central and sleep my afternoon away. Haha.. Oh, I received a compliment from Shaiful just now. He was asking me for some ideas on what appropriate gifts to get for our project's guest speakers cos' he felt that chocolates weren't good enough.

Haha... I felt so awkward cos' I'm not used to receiving sincere comments like that. Hee.. Nevertheless, I thanked him. But hey, deep down inside, I know I'm made of good stuff and I've got lots of good stuff in me that I can share with the world. Hoho, I'm not shy ah.
