Ugly Singaporeans... Yup, this is one of the times I don't feel proud to be a Singaporean. What a sharp contrast to how I felt when I heard what Joscelin Yeo's 40 gold medals and Singapore's achievement at the SEA games! Firstly, congrats to Ms Joscelin Yeo's great achievement! Though I felt that she should have stood up and wave or show some semblance of acknowledgement when the announcer read out her name at the events. Kinda dao eh? Oh well.. Also, congrats to Team Singapore for doing our country proud! I lurve ya guys, great job!

Ok, here's why I felt shameful bout's being a Singaporean. Last night, I was channel surfing when I caught a glimpse of PSC Nite. Saw the way our Singapore host and hostesses were hosting the show. Total flop! No chemistry between Ms Michelle Chia, Mr Cheng Shu Cheng and Ms Dunno-what-her-name-is-but-looks-Cheena. Mr Cheng was so freakin eager to talk and all, and the two ladies kept making blunders, stumbling over their own words and each other's words. Then, the famous taiwanese host/comedian, Kang Kang, made his appearance. Our local host and hostesses were talking among themselves, not making an effort to include the guest in their hosting of the show. Poor Kang Kang was so awkward. This is the 1st Boo-to-our-local-artistes Award!

The 2nd-Boo-to-our-local-artistes Award goes to Mdm Zoe Tay! I have no idea if she was feeling arrogant or she was really giddy with excitement. In the earlier show, 2005 Star Awards (Hong Xing Da Jiang), she kept popping in and out onto the stage, squeezing in ~~multiple~~ a few words in now and then, interrupting the flow of the show. Then later, she was co-hosting with Christy Cheung and was going on and on and on bout' how happy she was being a mommy and all the mommy woes, disregarding the time and what the main host and hostess was saying. Seemed like eons when she finally went to announcing the Top 10 female artistes. AND she made the same mistake of snatching the limelight again! Instead of sharing the presentation of awards and all with Christy Cheung, she was in her own little world, egging the audience on, blah blah blah. Poor Christy Cheung was trying so hard to squeeze in a few words of her own, that in the end she gave up trying and gave the whole limelight to Zoe Tay. BOO!!!

Oh yar, I watched this Star Awards thingy cos' I wanted to see how they dress. Haha.. Seems like most of them had better dress sense this year. My deepest impression came from Michelle Chia. Michelle Chia is soooo stunning and sexy and yummylicious in her red revealing gown. Lots of other hits too. Fewer misses this year. Haha..

Oh well, if you have no idea what I'm saying, catch the rerun of the show next week then.
