If there was ever a God, I swear He hates me.

For the whole of this week, when I made up my mind to go swimming, it rains. When I feel lazy and choose to stay in bed to catch up on my beauty sleep, the sun shines like there's no tomorrow.

Besides, I've been cast a role in a play that I, myself, has written. Hoho! Not that it's a bad play and I'm a rather good actress myself, but it's just that it's too much of a shitload on me. I'm gonna get Liz to take over my role in the play. I hope she agrees to it since I've done the whole camp booklet on my own. Heh heh heh... Plus, I have no friggin' idea where I'm supposed to station myself at for camp tomorrow. Oh well, get this over and done with. I'm looking forward to going crazy with kids that are half my age or even younger.

Update @ 11.30pm

Now catching a rerun of Ms World Universe 2005. Not really interested in it anyway. Ah well.. This particular update is just to let ya'all know that I'll be away on a kids camp which us, the Urbanites, organised for the children at a particular childcare centre. It is a 3-Days day camp held from tomorrow till Wednesday. So there'll probably be a lack of updates during these few days. But rest assured, I'll try to take more pics and post them up here.

Anyway, I have no idea what I want to write cos' I don't really have anything that I want to share. Ok, perhaps for this one lil nagging question at the back of my mind.

What is a Blog actually?

The definition can be found here. The point in this is that I visited this Weblog Awards page. In it, they featured different blogs which are in running for the different awards like 'Best Blog', 'Best Group Blog', 'Best Asian Blog', etc. Truth be told, being the inquisitive feline that I am, I clicked on each link and actually bothered to read some of them. Which then brings me to another question.

Why is it that websites which merely served as blog directory are also nominated for the awards?

And another question.

Personal websites which just copy and paste information from news websites are also considered blogs and are therefore, nominated for the awards?

Wow! So if that's the case, then I'll take the addresses of all the famous blogs all over the world and put them in this pathetic blogsite of mine and tadah! My blog will be in the running for the 'Best Asian Blog' or 'Best Blog' awards!

In my humble opinion, I feel that a blog is a personal website whereby an individual showcases his/her creativity, shares with the readers his/her daily happenings and pens down his/her thoughts or personal views towards certain issues. Other than that, the rest are just known plainly as 'websites'. That said, I think that Singapore is one of the few countries with the best blogs. Well, except that there's not much freedom of speech allowed.

Final note, I don't bother to read blogs that are full of political crap. But hey, you probably don't give a shit whether or not I read such blogs right? *winks*
